US Pastor Mike Murdock Gives COZA Pastor Biodun A Rolls Royce & A Million Dollars

US Preacher, Dr. Mike Murdock was in Nigeria last week for a program in Abuja. He visited Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Abuja where he reportedly gave Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo a Rolls Royce, a million dollar gift and made a life-long commitment to all four of the Pastor’s kids. Nun gives birth in Italy, says she didn't know she was pregnant

A Salvadorean nun who said she had no idea she was pregnant gave birth in Italy this week after she felt stomach cramps in her convent and was rushed to hospital, Italian media reported on Friday. The 31-year-old mother and her baby boy, who weighs 3.5 kilograms (9 pounds), are doing well and other new mothers in Rieti hospital have begun collecting clothes and donations for her, the reports said. "I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain," the nun was quoted as saying at the hospital, the Italian news agency ANSA reported. Continue... ANSA said the nun had named her baby Francesco (Francis) -- also the pope's chosen title and one of the most popular names in Italy, where St Francis of Assisi is the much-loved national patron saint. The hospital could not be reached for comment. The nun belongs to the "Little Disciples of Jesus" convent in Campomoro near Rieti, which manages an old people's home and reports said she would keep the baby. Her fellow nuns were quoted saying they were "very surprised".

This is the baby that was born on the streets of Ketu by a homeless mentally unstable woman on Thursday January 16th. (Read story here). Photo taken today Saturday January 18th at Oba's Prolific Clinic and Maternity where mother and child are being well taken care. The woman has refused to give her child up for adoption. She rejected offers by some people to take her child to the orphanage or give the baby to social welfare. She says she wants to take care of the baby herself, that she has a mother and other family members in Ondo who can help her take care of the baby. She also revealed she has other children who live with her mother in Ode Irele in Ondo. Quite a lot of people have been visiting the woman and her baby to show love and support and give whatever they can afford. Meanwhile, the hospital is working with agencies from the Lagos state government to help rehabilitate the woman and re-unite her and her baby with her family.

Man flogs orphan to deathover Christmas rice

According to a report by Vanguard, a 37 year old man beat his 20 year old
cousin to death over a bowl of rice.

said, yesterday, that it had
arrested a man, Kayode
Olubunmi,37, for allegedly killing
his cousin,Haruna Adeoye,20,
over a bowl of Christmas rice. The Police Public Relations Officer
in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi
disclosed this in a statement sent
to newsmen in Abeokuta. Adejobi explained that the tragic
incident occurred on the
Christmas day at Ajegunle, Ita-
Oluwo, Ogijo in Sagamu local
government area of Ogun State
at 10:30pm. According to the Police, the suspect
killed, Adeoye, an orphan for eating a
bowl of rice given to them by a friend
on Christmas day. “ When the suspect, who went on a
visit to his friends’ place, came back
drunk, he flogged the deceased to
death with a stick for eating the rice he
instructed him to keep for their dinner. “Haruna was an orphan who had
been staying with the suspect for
years and Olubunmi could not state
why he killed him. “He has confessed to the crime, he is
with us at SCID Eleweran and will soon

An angry father, Nicholas Anamene,
was said to have shot and killed his
son, Ugochukwu Anamene, during a
family brawl.
Chief Anamene, a polygamist with 10
wives allegedly killed his son in the family compound at Ezieke Umuolhi
Okija, Ihiala Local Government Area of
Anambra State, at about 8.30 pm.
Sympathisers were reported to have
gathered last weekend at Chief
Anamene’s compound to witness the burial of the murdered Ugochukwu
Anamene.
Nigerian Tribune reports: Ugochukwu, before he was
allegedly shot by his father with
a pump action gun, was a JS2
dropout but had started
learning motorcycle spare
parts trade. His polygamous father with 10
wives, who claimed that he shot
him mistakenly, claimed that on
the particular day, “I mistakenly
shot at my son around 8.30 p.m.
and fainted when I discovered I shot him to death.”
Chief Nichola who spoke to
journalists at the court premises
in Ihiala, where he was
immediately charged for murder,
did not however, tell newsmen who exactly he had wanted to
shoot before he mistakenly shot
his son.
The court was told that there
was a quarrel between Chief
Nichola and one of his wives Ngozi Anamene, who he had
planned to kill at 8.30 p.m; but
that on sighting somebody
entering the compound, who had
thought was his wife Ngozi, he
opened fire on his son who slumped and died.
Chief Nicholas has been
transferred to Onitsha Federal
Prisons where he is being
reminded while the case has
been adjoined to 22nd January, 2014
